A departure from Granny Ark's previous minimal and atmospheric efforts, this EP is more colorful and with crunchier sounds. Though Granny'Ark claims to cite organic influences, this release is anything but. Rather the music seems futuristic, the 'short stories' she describes likelier belong to a distant future than the present. The listener might imagine her/himself wandering a natural lanscape with a horde of robots on a nature study. The pieces are powerful, beautifully produced and have strong emotional overtones.

This is an excellent lush electronic release, a hard copy artifact of this work must be procured.

A close counterpart to Granny Ark's latest effort would be "Crashed by Car".
